I purchased this for my multi-cat household and could not be more pleased with the product. It’s wonderful quality for the price. Assembly was simple, with the only problem being the cats wanted to lay on the pieces straight out of the box. The fabric covering is soft (much nicer than the cheap carpet usually found on these items) and easy to clean. Don’t bother hanging up the toys unless you want to clean up yarn pieces that fly everywhere.
The rope around the columns seem to be glued over the entire length. Anyone who purchased a scratching post where the rope is only secured at the top and the bottom knows that this is a huge benefit to longevity. I was worried about sturdyness, but while three or four cats pouncing all over it makes it shake a little, they haven’t even come close to tipping it over (believe me, they can take out a large Christmas tree in minutes, so this thing is doing very well).
The house is slightly smaller than I thought it would be and my large cats don’t even attempt to enter it, which may pose a problem if you only have husky felines. However, my average sized and slender cats love to curl up for naps in there. Several have “claimed” the top perch and sometimes manage, though I don’t know how, to share it with each other. I highly recommend this or any other Armakat product.

My cat is only 6 lbs, but she does play HARD and while the tree shakes a little, it also seems very sturdy and I am not afraid of it falling. I like it because it fits into a small space while the other trees by the same company have a significantly larger footprint. My cat scratches the posts instinctively and loves to play with the little balls. My husband attached the balls by putting a little screw eye into the tree and then tying the ball to it in a triple knot – she has gotten the ball off several times by putting it in her mouth and trying to run away with it. This model is a really great value and fits in small spaces.

I am fairly satisfied with this Armarkat Cat Tree Gym Scratching Post, more satisfied than not, though! I do like it, but it is just a little too wobbley! Only a little though, the posts themselves, that is, not the base! Which is what some other customer actually posted in their review of this product, but I didn’t find that to be the case! You just have to tighten the posts really well and not allow cats that are really heavy to climb on it! It does have a maximum weight capacity of 25lbs, so you can understand what I mean! My cat absolutely loves it! She was in the cubby hole as soon as I took it out of the box and then she proceeded to hang out and sleep on it and in it for the rest of the night and the next day!
Wobbling aside, it is a really great value, for a really great price and we are happy with our purchase! I love the color as well, better than just the plain tan! Like I said, if you have a light weight cat this will be just fine for them! To make it perfectly secure as well, which is what I did and it also tells you to do it on the instructions is put it in a corner preferabley or, against the wall at least, if possible! Your cat will not be disappointed and neither will you for that matter! Happy playing kitties!!

This was our first Armarkat tree purchase, and the smallest, just to try out the products. Three years later, battered by a multiple-cat household, and well-loved by all, this little tree is still hanging in there. Don’t let the teddy bear-like faux fur fool you…it can take the claws and is easily cleaned with a small brush. I knew we had a winner when the cats were already on it as I assembled it. The kitties give it five paws-up. =^..^=

This is the second cat tree I have purchased from this company. The other much larger one I prefer to this one, but basically I think they make good products for a good price. I will be interested to see how well the sisal and fabric coverings last with use. The toys to tie on are worthless and demolished by active kitties in no time.

This is such a great product for the price! I got it for my cats for Christmas. I have two cats that are about a year old and they are always using it. They use the scratching post, hide in the cubby, perch on top, and play with the toy dangling from the top perch. Not a day goes by without them using it. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because the base is the same size as the top, so it topples over fairly easily. I still love it and would recommend it to other cat owners that can’t afford to spend $100+ on something like it.
